TO RUMINATE ABOUT MY LIFE;

sunday stills; wildflowers

with 30 comments

Living in the southern hemisphere gave me a “pass” on this weeks Sunday Stills challenge because it’s winter & there’s nothing in bloom. However, I did find an artificial flower that I thought would make the “wild flower” cut (I think).

P.S. The gala event was Friday night; it went excellent! :) I’m really happy with how every photograph turned out & they loved me; perhaps I’ve found a new avenue(?). I’d love to post photographs but obviously due to privacy I can’t, don’t fear though I will be photographing at my cousins wedding in September; I’ll post them!

  17. I love the leaves you have in the background – their jagged edges and straight lines. Well Done!

  20. Alright matey, real nice composition. Hmm, that text on the wooden box is a nice touch, nice prop use :)

    I’m a no-show this week because I fatally lent my memory card to my sister for her digi compact at the weekend, and then she left her camera on a bus! Along with my wildflowers I shot earlier in the morning :(

  23. As far as I can tell someone does. I passed it on a run this weekend (I was back there for the holiday) and it was in a different spot in the parking lot than when I took that picture in the fall, so at least it runs.

    This shot is a beautiful exploration of color. I like this week’s Sunday Stills challenge so much that I might even participate. The last few have been. . . not up my alley?

  25. Really detailed shot. The edges of the flowers arent smooth so it doesnt look artificial at all. Espeically like the pollen bit in the middle!

  28. Hey! Thanks for adding me to your blogroll! :) And great kitty name suggestions! I would love to use those, but unfortunately I’m never one to repeat animal names and I’ve already had a Patches. Darn it! That would be adorable! Thanks for visiting my neck of the woods and beautiful pictures!
