sunday stills; things with wings
Unfortunately having a “virus” (&swineflu) & being in bed all week, with no contact with people has been taking its toll. I feel suffocated; I need to interact with people, especially the ones I love. Sure, I love my own space & time for just me but I have realised how much I look forward to talking to & seeing my partner, my friends, how much I love eating dinner at the dinner table every night with my parents discussing how our days were & I realised how I do like my job & going to work Monday-Friday.
I (wasn’t aloud) or well enough to get out & capture something new & exciting for this weeks Sunday stills. Instead, I had to search through my photography folders on my laptop this week for an entry for “things with wings”.
These photographs were taken in January; three of my first photos with my d90.

Those first two photos are great. The second one, in particular, has a bit of a soft painterly look to it.
Get well soon.

Great pics. Especially considering the lens you used. Can’t wait to see what you can do once you have got that macro lense.

Beautiful. I love butterflies. My dad likes to catch their wings and bring them over for me to see… it depresses me. Such a pretty, pretty short life :)
I’m in love with the first picture. Good work.

First photos?! With my measly 18-55 kit lens, I would’ve needed to dress up as a bush and glue flowers and foliage all over me to get that close to butterflies. Sweet shots.
With all these get well wishes and vibes going your way, we’re probably giving you some form of superhumanpower too. Hope you’re good mate :)
