TO RUMINATE ABOUT MY LIFE;

sunday stills; the colour yellow

with 33 comments

I find I have less & less time these days, for “Chloe photography time”. Since the start of the month I’ve been doing payroll administration on Saturdays, leaving me virtually no time for photography.

I admit I have nothing in my house that’s yellow, or in the garden as it’s almost winter here, so this entry might be a little bit, dull. :(
I’m posting this early because I’m going out in two hours & I’m out all day Sunday (tomorrow) on a photo shoot with Paige, so here’s my Sunday Stills;

I will get to look at everyone’s wonderful entries for this week’s challenge, so don’t fret.

Much love, Chloe.

  2. Don’t neglect the inner Chloë too much.
    Wonderful colors and I like the sharpness of the foreground contrasting with the mysteriously vague background object – a glowing manta ray in full flight?

  15. Heylo mate, I had a mini version of one of these! Got real fish now, greedy chubby little things. Make sure you make time for yourself, suffocating the mind stifles good feelings, so keep those frowns :( upside down :)

  21. Wow- fun background!

    I know how you feel- I got back from school and went straight into working more or less full time six days a week. Not fun, and my photography has really suffered (as in I haven’t done it).

    The first “In the Studio” had a vintagey-looking color cast from mixing the ambient fluorescents with the daylight-colored flash, so I embellished it by toning the highlights yellow and the shadows blue.

    P.S. I finally posted a Sunday Still!

  26. I love it! I spent a lot of time trying to find photos in my album that weren’t sunflowers. Flowers were the obvious and you went with something different–cool!
