she was uninspired
For a while now I’ve been lacking in inspiration & energy to get out & photograph the world around me; a photography depression if you must. I admit, I’ve been lost without my photographs & today I made a change. Being up during the night with asthma & not getting enough sleep I took a sick day off work (i’ve deserved it). I slept in & then took Bruza for a walk with my camera. It felt great, like I’d been holding out on something life changing.
Next time I won’t leave it so long.

I LOVE this leaf, it was a case of right place at the right time & looking the right direction to spot it. I never seen anything so beautiful;

testing out the “up close” function of the d90;
this sunshine & bright blue cloudy sky came from now where :)

Get well soon :) Love that upward tree shot, good strong lines. Is it Autumn in Oz?
Cool colours and textures with that up-close function, you telling me I have to wait over half a year to see what you’ll do with that Nikkor 105mm?! :P

I really really like the second. You know how I feel about monochrome with toners. Great shot and processing.
I haven’t started teaching yet, but I can’t wait. I finals until Friday (technically just one more on Friday night, but it’s going to take some serious reading and studying), and then I’ll be home for a few weeks working in a tuxedo store (and shooting) before I head back out into the middle of nowhere for teaching.
Where have I been hiding? In the library (where I a now). Come to think of it, I should bring the camera over here tomorrow. This place is very photogenic.

Hey Mate! This is not fair..I’m in the middle of a desert(here it is summer), and you are enjoying Autumn.:P Not CooL!!
I just love these pictures. :D all of them are just Amazing. But the first three is just too good. :D :D
How did you find the first one??? Thats so ****ing COOL!! And the upward shot was really good.
Take a single leaf of that tree and keep it inside a big useless book-for me. Leave it like that for a couple of weeks. :D Let me know how it looks!!

Sometimes I wonder if you realize how truly talented you are?!?!?!? I know nothing of, or about, photography… Which makes me wonder how we found each other on wordpress???? But anyways, some of the things you capture are just amazing. I love every single one of these pics. Sorry to hear that you haven’t been feeling well. I hope you get better soon. I like the new pic of you too. Does Chloe have a bashful side?!?!? I don’t personally think so, but it was a really cute pic. Take care babe…

Hehe it is autum where you live? Are you in Aus or NZ or something? The first photo of the leaf is awesome. The green and yellow bit around the vein of the leaf look almost unreal. Sick, sick shot!
Did you get the perfect shot the first time around? Or are you taking multiple shots and choosing the one you like best?

Oh my god, that first picture looks magical.
Unreal. I’d think you’d have photoshopped it or something. It’s absolutely beautiful. It almost looks as if it’s burning.

Hey, They are known as rims or alloys. The effects are all photoshop work. I like that particular harley alot. Lean & mean!! :D
the blur effect gives the focus on the main subject. Its good when the snap has a distracting background. Like in a crowd. Glad you like it! I use layers and filters to give the motion blur effect. but the last one is zoom blur filter. :D

Wow, and once again, more treats for us from Chloe. You really do wonders with a camera, Chloe, so-much-so that your photo’s always leave me speechless. Honestly, they are too good for words. Aside from saying, “WOW”, I really don’t know what else to say.
Oh, and I love your new profile picture, too, how very creative (not to mention cute). ;-)
