TO RUMINATE ABOUT MY LIFE;

challenges ahead

with 10 comments

Another week without photography & now the rhetorical question, “how can I not have time to photograph my world(?)”.
The rain is beating down on the roof tiles, the wind is howling loudly, it’s terribly cold outside & I’m what.. stuck inside my warm house(?); I think not. No, I put on a coat & venture out into the rain, camera in hand.

I’ve been invited by ed to join Sunday Stills; “Sunday Stills is a place to hone your photography skills. Each Week Ed issues a new “Challenge” that gives us the opportunity to pick up what ever kind of camera we own and try and meet it.” & I must say I’m very excited(!).
‘April 26, 2009 Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Flowers and Plants’ will be my initiation post..bring on Sunday. :):)

  1. YES!!! Don’t let the rain or darkness hold you back. The D90 can tolerate a few raindrops. Good for you. I especially like the first photo.

  5. Great shots!!! I love shooting in the rain or just after, it brings out the color! If you get online look for OPTISLEEVES I use then when it rains and keeps the camera and lens nice and dry, not to mention they are inexpensive… :-) I try to keep a few in my bag at all times.

  6. I like the first one best. Taking photos where you focus on one object instead of a whole area seem a lot more powerful!

  7. Very nice macro on the first shot. Second shot looks like a scene from a comic book… not that I am a comic geek… I swear! Beautiful words as well Chloe. Did you witness The Rescue down under?

  9. Hey Buddy, The first one is an amazing shot! So crisp and clear. Even the flash reflection seems to be in place. Through the second one I can feel the cold weather! Nice one.. :D
