TO RUMINATE ABOUT MY LIFE;

autumn starts

with 15 comments

As the title suggests Autumn has started. It rained fairly heavily yesterday & when there was a moments relief I took full advantage. (18-55mm lens & 3x magnifying filter)

This one is really similar to a photograph I took over a year ago with my coolpix, however the detail & quality is much better:

One day I will sell photographs like these :)

  1. Your floral photography is simply poetic and beautiful. I like the droplets or dews on the petals. So artistic!

  5. Absolutely wonderful. It’s as if Nature is weeping with the joy of its own beauty :-)

  8. lol, sorry the comment is only reaching you now. I was about to comment last night, but I lost connection for some reason before I could finish:
    This is gorgeous :) The middle picture (it’s like, you took a picture of only a part of the flower and it was still beautiful. Sometimes, you don’t need to see the whole picture to be happy) and the last (the rose still has so much potential for beauty :)) are my favourite. lol, Excuse my life-lesson-learning from you photos. *grins*
    Thank you for the explaination about all the terms :)
    I mainly didn’t want to post the poem earlier, because I was still getting out of some ruts and stupid addictions I had at the time of writing. The rubber bands were the way I got out and they’re still pretty sensitive points. But I’m glad I can write (and post) about it now :)
    Once again, these photos are awesome. Is this your garden, btw?

  9. Ahhh I have a 18-55mm lens too for my Canon 40d. How do you get such clear shots? Also, thanks too for your explanation of a Shutter, Aperture, and the last thing. I bought this book called “Understanding Exposure” which I plan to read soon (although I’ve already started reading some of it.) It used these terms and I had no idea what they were talking about exactly.

  11. These pics are absolutely beautiful! Good job babe! How have things been in your life? I hope all is going well for you. I started hitting the weights again so I’ve been pretty sore. I wanna put about 10 pounds on by the end of April. I use to be in such good shape. I still KINDA am, but I haven’t worked out in about 6 months. It’s getting to be that time of year, so I gotta get my muscles back so I look good when the shirts off! Take care gorgeous…
