She kept looking, her eyes moving up & down my body; usually I only got those looks from the opposite sex.
I wondered what she was thinking, was she snickering & thinking to herself ‘that girl probably doesn’t eat’ just like the rest do with those envious eyes.
I tried to ignore her glances & looks as I danced care free.
The moment came when we would exchange words.
We made our way to the bar & I knew we had to pass her. The entire way I felt her eyes on me & I wasn’t sure if the words that would leave her mouth would be kind.
As we approached her, I quickly turned my head to one of the boys & made a joke about a facebook status conversation we had; it seemed my easiest way out.
Her hand reached near me & caught my attention, immediately I held her gaze because I am not one to back down to any girl.
“Hi, oh my god..” she trailed off into the thumbing music & I imaged her next words being ‘you’re so skinny’ or something to that effect however, her sentence finished with “you have killer legs! They are WOW”.
I was stunned, startled perhaps, I think I stood there motionless for a moment letting her words sink into my skin.
“Hi, oh my god..you have killer legs! They are WOW”
I don’t think I had ever heard that from another female before.
“thanks.. thankyou :)” I said as I quickly caught up to my friends.
